I designed Cakap Jepun: Japanese Language First Aid with the intention of making Japanese feel less intimidating for beginners.

I focused on creating a layout that feels clean and calm, using soft colours, clear typography, and simple illustrations to guide learners through basic phrases and everyday situations.

Each section is easy to navigate, so users can quickly find what they need without feeling overwhelmed. I also made sure the book is compact and portable, perfect for learners on the go.

This project was a chance for me to blend educational content with thoughtful design to support real, confident language use from the very first page.
